FAQ

Do participants have to pay to enter the competition?
Ans: Yes. A registration fee of $15 is applicable per participant. Registration fees include a competition official T-Shirt.

What is the format of the competition?
Ans: Difficulty route for qualifications will be top rope climbs for all categories. Difficulty route for finals will be lead climb for 14 and 18 categories.

What are the prizes?
Ans: Winners will be given Trophies and Gift Vouchers. Certificate of participation will be given to all the competitors.

Is it a must to provide 5 boys and 5 girls per age category?
Ans: No. Schools are allowed to submit any number of students, up to 5 names per category. As places are limited, please do fax in your registration form soonest to book your spot.

What can participating schools expect from the competition?
Ans: Participating Schools can expect a fun-filled exciting competition pitting they skills against climbers from other schools. They would also have the opportunity to network with other competitors and make more friends.

Can participating schools bring along supporters to cheer on the competitors?
Ans: Yes, you are invited to!

What happen if one of my competitors is unable to come on the competition day?
Ans: As the spot is already booked, please make provision to replace the competitor as best as possible. Please bring along a photo ID as we need to verify the age of the competitor. Only replacement for the same category is allowed.

What if our school decided to withdraw from the competition?
Ans: Please contact Mr Muhammad at 6733 4077 ext.302 by 27 Mar 2009 if you decided to withdraw from the competition. No refunds will be given.
